SCI-FI TRIPLE FEATURE – ATTACK OF THE LOW-BUDGET BLOCKBUSTERS
As seen on the Syfy channel, Screenland Crown Center will show three modern B-movies by The Asylum film studio.
KANSAS CITY, MO – Screenland Crown Center will show three movies by The Asylum film studio – the nation’s largest producer of low-budget movies – on Sunday, September 26, 1:00-7:00 pm. Tickets are available for $10, online at www.screenland.com or at the theater box office.
The three movies to be shown are Mega Piranha with 80’s pop star Tiffany (1:00); Mega Shark v. Giant Octopus with 80’s pop-star Debbie Gibson and actor Lorenzo Lamas (3:00); and The Land that Time Forgot with C. Thomas Howell (5:00). The three movies have been shown on the Syfy channel, but never on the big screen.
“These are the kind of movies you can love and hate at the same time,” Sean Spence, event coordinator, said. “They all deserve to be shown on the big screen and anyone who joins us for the day is going to have a great time.”
In conjunction with Screenland, event sponsors include Kansas City attorney Michael J. Gunter, and The Asylum.
